What we hold

Your name, work email, and organisation; the photos, sketches, templates, and drawings you upload; the drawings, quotes, orders, and inspection records we produce for you.

Who can see it

People in your organisation, and Open Depot staff working on your requests. Files are stored privately and served only through short-lived signed links. Nothing is public, nothing is indexed by search engines, and nothing is shared between organisations.

Vendors

To make a part we send the fabrication shop only what it needs: the cut file, the drawing, material, and quantity — not your name, your vessel, or your photos.

Controlled drawings

If a drawing carries a distribution statement or you mark a request as controlled, it is flagged, access is restricted to staff working on it, and it is excluded from any processing outside our own systems.

Retention and deletion

We keep your records so you can reorder from them — that's the point of the depot. Ask us to delete anything and we will, within 30 days.
